Notes:
Dancing
with the Local Stars:
Returning this year will be our ever popular Dancing with the
Local Stars. This event will take place on
Thursday evening around 8pm.
Dance Seminars:
Dance seminars will return this year. Saturday February
25th: Rhythm on at 10:30 am
and Smooth at 11:30
New This Year:
We are giving an award to the
Top
Bronze, Top Silver and Top Gold students of the weekend.
This will be
based on the number of entries and their placements.
New This Year:
We are also adding a
Rising Star Division for Professionals
on Friday night.
Note:
Teacher Perks:
Any teacher (not
studio)
bringing 150 entries or more will receive a free Package for the
weekend.
Please specify if you would
like
Package A or B.
Note:
Entry Fee Discount:
Freestyles entries received between
January 27 and February 1, 2012 or earlier will be discounted $3
off per entry.
Note:
Multi-dance
Competitions for Adults &
Junior:
In the multi-dance division, men and women will be judged
separately from each other in the 3 age
categories. Note that juniors now have their own entry form.
Special
Event - Am/Am Salsa
Competition:
This is an amateurs only fun filled dance event where
competitors, dancers, and the general audience is
welcome to participate together. There will be
prizes awarded to the last couple selected by our judges.
This event takes place on
Saturday evening, February 25, 2012.
Side
Note:
If
your group is arriving at different times, we will be happy to hold your
student’s tickets at registration.
This way you
don’t have to keep running out to deliver tickets as
people arrive.
