Please see registrar or scrutineer for the sheets.

 ALL FREESTYLES (including Scholarships):
Material used should be based on the NDCA Syllabus or its equivalent.   International
restricted to I.S.T.D. or I.D.T.A. Syllabi.  Any couple dancing out of category will be given
one warning.  If the couple continues to dance out of category, they will be dropped down
 two placement levels.

ALL AMERICAN STYLE BRONZE CATEGORIES: (including Scholarships)
Material used should be based the NDCA rules. No Continuity Style in closed Bronze
categories.  If you have won the bronze scholarship is a particular style, you
may NOT compete in that same bronze scholarship again.

 OPEN DIVISIONS:
Open Division cannot contain any lifts, other than that, there are no restrictions.

 SHOWDANCE SCHOLARSHIPS:
Must have Two (2)  lifts per routine and a time limit of 3 minutes on and off the floor.  One

AM/AMs will be judged separately  from Pro/AMs in the
Showdance Scholarship division and the top 3 scores overall will be asked to do an honor
 dance on Saturday evening.

 AGE CATEGORIES:
 J1 = 4-7 Yrs.        J2 = 8-11 Yrs.      J3 = 12-15 Yrs.      J4 = 16-19 Yrs.     A1 = 16-25 Yrs.
 A2 = 26-35 Yrs.   B1 = 36-45 Yrs.

Students may dance in an age category younger, but not older than their own age and may
only dance in two (2) age categories.  Amateur couples should enter the age category of
the younger partner.  Juniors must dance in their own age category.  Juniors see NDCA
 rules for more details.

 DANCE LEVELS:
Newcomer level is reserved for those students who have taken 50 lessons or less.
Students may dance in three (3) consecutive levels within a particular style.
 I.E.:  Rhythm-Bronze II/Open Bronze/Silver I, Standard-Open Silver/Gold I/Gold II, etc.
Students may dance Open Silver & Open Gold.  You must dance the scholarship of the
freestyles you dance.  Example If you are doing all Silver Freestyles, you must compete
in the silver, not Bonze scholarship.

 JUNIOR DRESS CODE:
The junior dress code will be strictly enforced.  See the NDCA rules for details.

 SCHOLARSHIPS:

SCHOLARSHIP-A Will include ages 16-39, SCHOLARSHIP-B Will include ages 40 & Up.
All couples will compete against each other within their appropriate age scholarship
regardless of gender.  Pro/Am students can dance in two (2) consecutive scholarships
within a particular style as long as they are dancing up.
For example, if you dance the silver
freestyles and want to compete in the open scholarship that is fine, however, you cannot
 compete in the bronze scholarship.
Couples competing in Bronze & Silver scholarship events
must enter the single dance freestyles for that style.  For example, if you are entered in the
Smooth Bronze Scholarship, you must enter Bronze 1,  Bronze II or Open Bronze Waltz,
Tango and Foxtrot Freestyles.  If you have won the bronze scholarship is a particular style,
you may NOT compete in that same bronze scholarship again.

Amateur couples competing in any open scholarships have to register with NDCA before the
 competition.  For information contact:  www.ndca.org
